Pomegranate fruits, ecotypes ‘‘Acide” (Ac), ‘‘Gabsi” (Ga), ‘‘Nebli”
(Ne) and ‘‘Tounsi” (To), were collected from the same oasis at
Gabes region (southeast of Tunisia) at mature stage. Fruits were
manually peeled then the collected peels were ground into small
pieces (particles’ size were 1–3 mm) and stored at 12 C for
further physicochemical characterization.
