Note that Leadership and Incentive (H11 and H13) exert a direct as well as indirect
effect on Knowledge Use. This suggests that building a sophisticated KMS may be
neither a necessary nor a sufficient condition to realize adequate sharing of knowledge
in an organization. What is important is that the leadership must identify the
nature of knowledge and how knowledge sharing can be embedded within the existing
organizational processes, possibly with the help of available IT infrastructure.
This is reiterated by a number of researchers in their studies of experiences of various
organizations.
