On the other hand, an immigration from elsewhere in the European Union is good for the public finances because they make up half of the Britain income. Most of the businesses are agree that immigration from the European Union members create more benefit than costs. From my point of view, while the Britain tend to be an ageing society, the movement into Britain of younger workers from the European Union countries will help reduce the problem of lacking labor in the industry and services. “According to the Office for National Statistics, there are 942,000 eastern Europeans, Romanians and Bulgarians working in the Britain, along with 791,000 western Europeans” (The Week, 2016). Furthermore, immigrant workers also help Britain to deal with the costs of an ageing population by replacing many retiring workers and by raising more taxes to pay for health care and pension costs.
