Last night after training Quinten spoke to me regarding the window and I promised to recheck what had happened as he was under the impression that we had waived his responsibility for the breakage.
This morning, together with my assistant as translator, I spoke with the member of the security team who handled the incident. They explained that at the time Quinten admitted his responsibility but told the security team he understandably didn’t have the cash with him to pay. The staff concerned told him not to worry and we would let him know when we knew the cost. I understand one of Quinten’s friends (possibly Paul?) acted as his translator from Thai to English. Perhaps you could verify this with Quinten?
