Once the underlying curve is created, it can be edited
upon. The conventional interaction metaphors are based
upon explicitly “point–click–and–drag” the control points.
Our solution mimics the sketching method used by artists
when sketching strokes with a pencil on paper: the stroke is
edited upon by moving the pressure sensitive stylus alongside
(a part of) an existing stroke. These movements are
sampled and are consequently interpreted as an attractor
transforming the underlying curve representation of the targeted
stroke in such a way that it reflects the user’s intentions.
