In a press conference held Sunday at Sitio Pungayan in Santo Tomas, Benguet -- a small farming village now popularly know as La Presa, thanks to the series -- Soberano and leading man Enrique Gil shared what they learned from "Forevermore" throughout its seven-month run.
Soberano, 17, was talking about her experience under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Molina, as well as her long wait to get the big break, when she started to turn emotional.
Sensing his co-star was about to cry, Gil took the microphone and answered the same question given to Soberano, regarding how "Forevermore" has changed them personally and as actors.
"Forevermore," which will conclude on May 22, marked the first lead role of Soberano in a series. It was also her first major team-up with Gil, who has been paired with several actresses in a leading role but has openly referred to his tandem with Soberano as his most successful.
Airing weeknights after "Nathaniel," the drama series also stars Joey Marquez, Lilet, Irma Adlawan, Marissa Delgado, Erich Gonzales and Diego Loyzaga.
