Due to the trial design, it was necessary to take measurements
and samplings over a range of RS (see Table 1). The range depended
on the type, as well as the date of the sample. Results are presented
by designating the mean of a given sample to the mean RS over the
range that was sampled. When data types that were sampled from
different designated RS were compared (e.g. comparing tiller
density with fractional interception), values at a common RS were
estimated by interpolation.
