Experienced native English teacher
I am an experienced native English teacher from the UK, with a TEFL certificate and degree in biochemistry, looking for teaching work.
When I first moved to Thailand, I taught English, science and mathematics to Prathom 1, 2, 3 and 5 at Anubarn Surin School. This gave me my first experiences of Thai culture, preparing lesson plans and making English exciting for large classes.
At Minburi Suksa School, I taught conversational English to all students, from kindergarten to Prathom 6. I really enjoyed the challenges and variety of this role, and feel that working without a co-teacher further improved my communication skills and ability to manage a classroom.
Currently, I am teaching at Bhadungsit Pittaya School, where I prepare students for Cambridge Young Learners English tests (starters and movers levels). It's really great to see the children progressing through the syllabus and passing their exams. I also lead extracurricular activities, for example English camp, where I create a range of engaging activities around a particular theme.
I believe that my experiences have given me a wide range of skills and have prepared me for the challenging and exciting career of teaching. Please let me know if you would like to see my CV or any further information. Thank you.
