-Trade and investment relations between ASEAN and EU remain substantial 1.5% growth in 2013
-The EU was ASEAN’s second largest trading partner (export: -0.4%; import: +3.5%)
-The EU is ASEAN’s biggest source of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) with a share of 22.3%.
-There is an increase number of visitors arrivals from the EU to ASEAN.
-The ASEAN-EU FTA would possibly be arranged upon the ASEAN Economic Integration by the end of 2015 based on individual ASEAN Member States (AMS).
-Some conferences were organized to enhance cooperation between ASEN-EU relations, i.e. the ASEAN-EU Business Summit (AEBS), EU-ASEAN Aviation Summit.
-The EU provides assistance to ASEAN through the EU-ARISE program to support capacity building of the AMS on regional economic integration.
