Koh Phi Phi also features a vibrant nightlife, with Tonsai Beach containing dozens of beach bars and restaurants and lively Tonsai Village consisting of a maze of shops, bars, and restaurants. Smaller beaches around the island are alternatively ideal for honeymooners, families, those on a budget, and those looking for the ultimate luxury resort retreat.
As everything for sale on Koh Phi Phi has to travel by boat from Phuket or Krabi, Koh Phi Phi features nearly the same products you can find in Patong Beach or Ao Nang, with a bias towards beach gear, such as sarongs and swimwear. As they must be shipped to Koh Phi Phi products also costs a little more as well.
There are many dive shops on Koh Phi Phi that sell snorkel and dive gear.
For more everyday supplies, such as sun block and mosquito repellent, there are many small shops across the island, including pharmacies and 7-11s in Tonsai village. On the more remote beaches expect to pay a bit more for such products if they are available.
Most local shops and minimarts are open from around 8 or 9 am to perhaps 10 or 11 depending on the location. Dive shops usually close at 9 pm.
Koh Phi Phi is the collective name for a cluster of six islands included in the Mu Koh Phi Phi-Nopparathara National Park. Koh Phi Phi features towering limestone cliffs that shelter white, sandy beaches and spectacular, aquamarine bays filled with exotic marine life.
