Instead, they argued that teachers, who fail to implement seven important measures, cause their students to learn math-anxious behaviors. These measures include teachers who: (a) show that they like mathematics; (b) make mathematics enjoyable; (c) show the use of mathematics in careers and everyday life; (d) adapt instruction to students’ interests; (e) establish short-term, attainable goals; (f) provide successfulactivities; and (g) use meaningful methods of teaching so that math makes sense.
