Lactobacilli numo bers were not red

Lactobacilli numo bers were not reduced by acetylspiramycin in the present trial. It is not in agreement with the result of Decuypere (1973), who demonstrated a decline in enteric lactobacilli counts due to feeding spiramycin. The failure of acetylspiramycin to reduce E. coli numbers is consistent with its antibacterial spectrum (Weinstein,1975).
