Use to set the flow-direction and width-direction redundancy width.
Printed matter is inspected via comparison with the waveforms of normal
products. It is necessary to have a setting that allows a certain degree of
line blurring in both the width and flow directions. This setting is the
redundancy value.
If there is large blurring of inspected objects on the setup line and false
detections occur often, the false detections can be reduced by making this
redundancy setting larger. On the other hand, this may affect the
detection of flaws that should normally be detected; therefore, set the
redundancy value carefully. (If the flaw detection area becomes smaller
because of the allowance made by the redundancy setting, flaws that
need to be detected may no longer be detected.)
