I would like to thank our client and business partner Chevron Exploration & Production (E&P) Thailand for giving me the opportunity to express my, along with SapuraKencana’s views on what we see is our challenge now and in the future of our industry - Human Nature.
For the last several years now we have been under the collective team guidance, inclusive of all Business Partners and Chevron D. & C. Management, facilitated by Khun Rob Weakley, Khun Scott McLeod and Khun Thanairat Anantachote. Scott as we know has now departed Thailand and has been replaced by Greg Drury, and Rob will soon be replaced by Eric Wagner. It is now our responsibility as a Perfect Execution Steering Committee member to our teams, our organisations and our own conscience, to keep the collaborative team environment moving forward going from good to great, by embracing and coaching new team members as people change over time. It was through leadership, collaborative discussions and workshops that brought us to the level we now call - Perfect Execution.
It has been fun, it has not been bias nor was it dictated to any of us as to what Perfect Execution should look like. We were empowered to make decisions and openly state our opinions. Our goal isn’t finished by any means, what we have created up till now has laid the foundation for the future generations of drilling and completion teams, as we continue on this Journey that brings us from Good to Great. We need to ensure those following us fully understand and embrace what has been developed. If we are following the guidelines required for PBED , which is our IFO Pocketbook , our first line of defence, Perfect Execution is sustainable now and in the future of our industry .
Thank you Khun Rob and Scott for everything you have shown us, your stories of the past and vision of the future!
