As I look out my window soft clouds are in the sky again, making sure that rain is closely threatened but never falls and stars stay hidden even when they would otherwise shine brightly. Lights from the city reflect against that layer of watery air above in order to give the whole surroundings a multicolored ceiling, and make it seem as if the entire scene is contained within a canvas that takes up the whole horizon. A small slice of the world protected, for the moment at least, from the cold depths of space and the chill night air. This is my sky, the one of the recently passed red moon. Is it yours as well, or something truly different? Do the strands of one flow into the other on slow breezes over great distances, so that even as we are physically far apart we breathe the same air?I don't know the answers, but I like to count it as another way we stay together - connected - despite any distance. That two people can be friends, no matter their differences of distance, age or culture. You must do what you can to be happy, to be calm, and to endure. This world is not always kind, and we each must struggle with it at times, or even always. I don't know what to do most of the time with myself, and if asked honest what my purpose and direction life is right now I would say, "I do not know. Everything is confusing". The world often is a very lonely place, though we would like to say otherwise.Despite all that, we must remember that all we can do is support and forgive each other, to always believe the best in one another, and to love freely while believing in our dreams. We must, when possible, make friends and keep those connections alive. It is said that beauty only exists in our minds, and so is the case with love - we must remember both of these things at all times and never forget that there are people in our lives that make us smile, and remember to endure. So that is why I am sending you a message. To see if we can be friends, to talk and learn...
