Adele, who is in the midst of a music comeback, strikes a fierce and gorgeous pose on the cover of The Guardian newspaper's The Observer Music magazine.
The 27-year-old British soul singer, who recently released the ballad "Hello," her first single in three years, appears in a close-up that highlights her stunning eyes as a wisp of her blond hair falls across her nose.
Adele talked to the magazine about her comeback, fame in general, and her lifestyle, saying she felt as though she was going through "an out-of-body experience" after the success of her most recent album, 21.
"It's very easy to give in to being famous," Adele said. "Because it's charming. It's powerful. It draws you in. Really, it's harder work resisting it. But after a while I just refused to accept a life that was not real."
She told The Observer Music that the biggest change to her life is that she now shops at Waitrose (England's equivalent of Whole Foods).
