The ANOVA results for each attribute in each acceptance session showed that, in the blind test, there was not a significant difference regarding acceptance for the taste attribute (p N 0.05) (Table 2). The texture of the irradiated strawberry was less accepted than the texture of the non-irradiated strawberry (p ≤ 0.05), which may have caused the lower overall acceptance of the irradiated strawberry compared to the control (p ≤ 0.05).
