The Folin–Ciocalteu method was used to estimate the total phenolic content of EOs. Folin–Ciocalteu reagent, sodium carbonate, standard/ EOs, and distilled water were mixed in a ratio of 5:15:1:79 to make up a total volume of 200 μL in Eppendorf tubes separately for EOs and standard.
