Approximately three-quarters of the respondents are women (76 per cent,
n ¼ 103); one-quarter are men (23 per cent, n ¼ 31). More than half (51 per cent)
of the respondents are ‘baby boomers’ born between 1942 and 1964 (n ¼ 69). Thirty
per cent (n ¼ 40) are ‘post-boom’, born between 1965 and 1979, and 14 per cent
(n ¼ 19) are ‘silver streakers’, born before 1942.
The majority of households (59 per cent, n ¼ 79) have two or more adults
contributing to household income and 41 per cent (n ¼ 55) rely on one income.
