is found that mostly of them, the research view is how
to enhance the quality of BCE or using skills of
computer. However, a scheme is proposed from the
view of information technology in this paper:
Students’ information technology literacy (ITL) should
be cultivated in information age. And college BCE
should be converted into information technology
literacy education (ITLE). In order to plan ITL
teaching, the ITLE process is divided into three stages:
basic ITL education, application ability of ITL
education, ITL of specialty education. In these stages,
modularized courses are offered to select and students’
comprehensive skills are strengthened practiced.
In this paper, we firstly review the history of
Chinese BCE development. After introduced the
reformation and limitation of BCE, the curricula
system of ITLE is detailedly described. Lastly, the
comparison between ITL and information literacy is
also introduced.
