These are alpha waves meaning that they are brainwaves that are associated with Relaxation, pre-sleep and pre-wake drowsiness, REM sleep, Dreams. Alpha brain waves typically range from 7 Hz to 13 Hz. It is important that you do these things, USE HEADPHONES, it is highly suggested that you use headphones because it will be easier for the sounds to make there way into you ears and for you brain to perceive them, binaural beats are basically two tones that play in each ear and your brain tries to piece them together but can't so it makes a new sounds which can do a number of things to your mind, it is all very healthy for you and I suggest that you listen to 8-15 minutes of them a day, but of course you can listen to others that are longer if you want, it generally takes 8 minutes for your brain to fully piece everything together. The things you must do are use headphones and don't have the volume to quite but not too loud either, just a medium volume, one thing you can do if you know about it is meditate while listening to it, for those that don't know meditation is very healthy for you, you become very calm and relax if you do it often, to meditate you sit in a comfortable position, I usually just sit crosslegged or half lotus(one foot on top of the opposite thigh) or full lotus(both feet on top of both thighs), wear comfortable clothing and make sure that the room you are in has nothing that could disturb you, be in a calm environment and clear your mind. Clearing your mind is the hardest part, one way is counting, I usually count with each breath. But whatever works is fine. Meditating to this isn't necessary.
