Overhead Costs
One element that goes into increasing company profits is lowering overhead costs. Overhead includes facility charges such as rent, utilities and maintenance along with personnel costs and office supplies. An example of organizational performance management in this instance would be a program to reduce overhead costs by cutting down on utilities costs. The company would bring in an energy consultant and develop a strategy to lower company energy costs within one year. The company would then monitor the progress of the energy cost reduction over the course of a year to make sure that the goals of the program are being met
