Participants completed a post-test questionnaire on which they recorded all the information about each suspect that they could remember. Group members would be more likely to remember information items if they had processed the information. Two judges counted the number of correct information items reported by the participants. Information items were classified as unique to the participant if they could not have known the information prior to the group meeting. The participants must have learned this information during group discussion. Interrater reliability was 0.95.
