Objectives
To determine a relation between serum HO-1 level and silica exposure in stone mortar and pestle production workers
To compare an HO-1 level between silicosis patient, non-exposed subject and respiratory tract disease patient
To study a confounding factor of increase serum HO-1 level in stone mortar and pestle production workers
Discussion and Conclusion
HO-1trend to increase as silica exposure level increase, health follow up
The HO-1 level in silicosis is lower than other group which differ from previous report (Sato et. al. 2006)
Smoking status showed a significant relation to increase HO-1
The inflammation of lung related to HO-1
