Screenings for early detection and knowledge about risk reduction are critical for young women. For women ages 20–29, the American Cancer Society (ACS) recommends screening such as a clinical breast exam (CBE) and optional breast self-exam (BSE). CBE is conducted by providers at least once every 3 years as part of the health exam for this age group.
