Objectives
1. Learn about five human sensory organs and their furction.
2. Develop their senses.
Activities and Experiences
Beginning Stage
Teacher shows children the picture of people standing in noisy environment surrounded by smelly garbage heap and asks every child in the class , one how he / she thinks people in the picture would feel.
Teaching Stage
Teacher arks each child to, respectively.
1. Looks around and selects one of the class appliances.
2. Caresses and squeezes the selected appliance and describes its appearance.
3. Closes his/her eyes, listens to the surrounding noises and tells what kond of noises he/she hears.
4. Smell rose the teacher brings and tells what the smell is like / what the smell is.
5. Eats a piece of candy the teacher gives and tells how it taster.
6. Next, children and teacher have a conversation about the sensory organs they use to sense the class appliances, rose,and candies.
Conclusion Stage
1. Children and teacher help reach other find the conclusion of human sensory organs : hands / skin are/ is the sensory organ for touch , nose smell, ears hearing , tongue taste and eyes sight.
2. Teacher shows children the pictures in the activity book “ All about me ” kindergarden level 3 page 11. Afferwards, has a conversation with them about the pictures and assigns them to fill in the blanks with the words below that match yhe body parts.
