3. Results
The microbial biomass carbon (MBC) and N (MBN) were
significantly affected by the interaction of tillage systems and
sampling year (P < 0.05 for MBC and P < 0.01 for MBN; Table 3). In
2008, higher MBC (25%) and MBN (7%) values were observed in RT
than CT regimes without a significant difference between MP and
DP treatments (Table 4). In years 2009–2011, the mean microbial
biomass contents in RT were much greater (32–33% for MBC and
