In the Manage Orders tool, an order with a status of Pending may indicate an issue with the buyer's payment method. In some cases, our payment and order detail verification processes may potentially extend order processing times for as long as 21 days.
Note: You will not be able to confirm shipment of an order until the order status changes from Pending to Unshipped. You have 30 days from the order date to confirm shipment of the order. If you do not confirm shipment within 30 days of the order date, Amazon will cancel the order and you will not be paid, even if you shipped the order.
Do not ship an order while in Pending status, even if the buyer contacts you directly. If a buyer contacts you while an order is in Pending status, refer them to Amazon Customer Service for more information.
When an order is in Pending status, the order is "grayed out" (non-actionable) in the Manage Orders tool. You cannot cancel or confirm an order while it is in Pending status. Pending orders also will not appear in either your Orders report or Unshipped Orders Report.
