higher levels of amylase, cellulase and xylanase, compared to ac19
(Fig. 1A and B). Ac9 and 6ca11 have comparable cellulase and
xylanase activities at both incubation temperatures; while amylase
activity was significantly higher in ac9 with 477.734 mg min À 1 ml À 1
against 345.970 mg min À 1 ml À 1 by 6ca11 at 4072 1C (Fig. 1A).
Hydrolytic activities of ac19 were inferior to both ac9 and 6ca11 at
both temperatures.
