Relevant to the above problem, Sanchawee Saibua (1995) wrote that in
translation from Thai language into English language receivers will have to possess
knowledge of English grammar to analyze the message in order to get the meaning,
especially in some messages contained in several long and complicated sentences. In
Thai to English translation, grammar analyzing would help to get more accurate
meanings. In the above example sign board, if the bookstore started by analyzing the
meaning and the use of language, there will be a far less chance of making errors and
the message could have been easier to understand and less confusing.
