4.2a(2) and (3) Since its initial development in mid-1998,
OMI has used the Corporate LOP Model (Exhibit 6-2) as a tool for operating the company. Each process owner completes standardized process documentation, monitors process health through key metrics, and gathers user/customer input using a simple, standardized questionnaire. The Process Improvement Team generated a corresponding Project LOP Model for use at the Project level. In addition to its use as an operational tool, the Corporate and Project LOP Models serve as leadership and alignment tools, ensuring linkage of process action plans to OMI's Strategic Objectives and serving as the framework within which Improvement Initiatives are accomplished.
