Albert, hello .
Re: our recent phone call.
I think you need to discuss at your next meeting the general lack of support regarding structural changes.
1) The lack of access to the intranet by many members of staff who do have regular access to the intranet. Most non supervisors do not have regular or indeed any access to the intranet.
Most of these staff have received little or no support since the FFF changes were announced in November 2013. Staff were told that briefings were going to be made and whilst many staff may have been briefed many have not.
There has been no structured approach to this unlike the P and D process. It seems strange that the P and D process can take place but no mention of the structural changes was made.
Of course the P and D process is a bit of corporate box ticking. ?
Local management seem to have demonstrated little concern and little interest in this.
It has been over a year before staff were given any kind of real insight has to how the changes would affect them.
One member of staff even approached the GSM and was told to look it it up on the intranet,
Except that said person did not and does not have access to the intranet. It would have been all too easy to have provided this support and yet there is little evidence that many have received this support. Any support has been on a hit and miss basis without any real audit trail. Considering the impact this may have on peoples personal life’s this lack of support is very demoralising.
