One-,
5-, 10-, and 20-year survival was estimated for each of the PAH-CHD
sub-populations; the date of the first confirmatory right heart catheterization
establishing the presence of PAH-CHD or idiopathic PAH was
considered to be the baseline from which survival was measured. A sensitivity
analysis was conducted to assess the effect of a delay between
diagnosis and referral on survival across the sub-populations by comparing
the Kaplan–Meier survival curves of patients whose time between
PAH diagnosis and referral was ≥5 years. Cox survival analyses, both univariate
and adjusted for patient age at first confirmatory right heart catheterization,
were performed as additional sensitivity analyses
