Some love it. others hate it. But it looks like London's Millennium Dome is here to stay. The dome itself is made of a very strong 1. material that is only a millimeter thick This makes the dome very light. The air inside the dome is heavier than the roof itself. This material is 2. supported by twelve towers, one for every hour of the clock. This makes the whole dome look like a big clock from above. When the dome opened in 2000, many were pleased with the interesting 3. design But some were unhappy t had not because-for such an expensive 4.project brought in as many visitors as the builders predicted. Today, the Millennium Dome is better known as the O2 Arena, and is a stadium for music and sporting events.
