Paying at the till – till means (a place or machine in a shop where you pay)
1. Who’s next, please?
2 How would you like to pay?
3. Can you put your card in, please? … And can you enter your PIN, please? … Thank you. OK, here’s your receipt, and here’s the clock.
Changing your mind
This morning my daughter said at breakfast, ‘I’d like some orange juice.’
Then she changed her mind and said, ‘On second thoughts, I’d prefer some milk.’
