Hey..
Just checking in! I'm working on pen and paper mostly at the moment, as it's way faster to scribble out all the page designs and ideas like that. Then I'll scan them all in for rayner to draw up and then the programmers can get started. Then we'll work on the actual working and the dozens of little supporting videos i have in mind.
Some of todays ideas...
Regarding shares, I'm planning to change the display collating all sells from individual sellers and put them in a simplified price display. So you can see how many shares are available at each price point.
We'll offer a seperate display to see individual sellers.
Then i want to make a trading bot type thing. Which will enable people to buy and sell big without spiking the price. And thereby getting a more consistent price.
Eg. Buy ___ shares every ___minutes, up to a max price of $___/share.
Then you can buy 1000shares a minute for example. Thereby giving the undercutters chance to repopulate the market and let you buy more at the same or lower price in theory.
And the same for sells... accept the best bids at a rate of ____ shares per ____minutes with a floor price of whatever.
And then we can expand on that with an option to scalp the market. Buy/sell then instantly relist at given % markup.
Simple stuff, and nothing you can't already do. Just making life easier, less time consuming.

I've also got a rough framework for debt swap eules and shareholder voting. Giving predetermined guidelines for that entire process. Allowing for both elective swaps and emergency swaps. I'll give you the details later.
-----
Next on my list is product ownership shares and marketplaces... im planning a few bits here. A simple buy/sell marketplace for fixed prices / bids.
Then an optional second market for auctions. So rather than sell your shares for a fixed price, put them up for auction. And see if the crowd drives the price higher than your minimum.
And then there'll be another option for projects in the construction queue. Allowing bids on some of those shares before it's even built.
With product shares, these will pay daily dividends per the result cards. I've figured out how to carry loss days forward, but how we'll display that i need to figure out! It's simple enough, just a question of wording and some conditional displays and calculations.

But I'm making progress!

- ideas
- construction queue
Are left to figure out. Then i focus on the top control panel stuff that deals with notifications, histories and account displays. That's where it'll all come together.
Fingers crossed for just another week or so, and the first complete map of everything will be ready!
