9 Reliability
A random selection of 10% of the language produced by dyads in the control condition and another random selection of 10% of the language produced by dyads in the experimental condition were coded by an independent rater. The coding was done using the same procedures described in this study. The agreement for the ratings of subordinate clauses was about 91%, C-units about 93%, T-units about 91%, and error-free T-units about 92% for the language produced by dyads in the experimental condition. 10 Data analysis technique
