No differences were detected in DMI, milk yield and composition, dairy efficiency, or BW change in cows receiving AH or T85 with or without enzyme (Table 4). There was a tendency (P = 0.06) for cows fed T85 to consume more DMI as a percentage of BW compared with those fed AH (3.62 and 3.52% of BW for T85 and AH, respectively). An interaction (P < 0.0001) was observed for NDF intake as a percentage of BW because NDF intake was highest for T85–, intermediate for AH+, and lowest for T85+ and AH–.
