Advertisements
When you purchase advertising on Facebook, you pay either by a cost per click (CPC) or cost per impressions (CPM). While the minimum CPC is $.01 and the minimum CPM is $.02, Facebook will usually recommend that you bid higher than that during the pricing phase of ad creation. If other advertisers bid more, their ads are more likely to be shown. This puts small businesses and niche advertisers at a disadvantage.
Time Consumption
Utilizing a Facebook page as a part of your digital strategy is very time-consuming if done right. In addition to watching out for negative comments, a business should respond promptly to any questions or positive suggestions posed by customers. Because Facebook is up and running 24 hours a day, posts may accumulate quickly. If a business's Facebook engagement grows, it may even become necessary to designate an employee strictly to social media duties. This might not be realistic for some companies, making it unreasonable to properly manage a Facebook page.
