In order to obtain a permanent table license, the catering business must have its own kitchen for preparing food. The same conditions that apply to restaurants regarding the selection of food available and the requirement that the business has its own kitchen also apply to catering firms. Premises where alcohol will be served must provide documented proof that the premises are suitable from a fire safety point of view in order to be approved. This requirement does not apply when serving alcohol in private premises, such as private homes or similar premises.
