As you saw from Lachie's note I was unfortunately called out to help with an engagement in Hawaii. I will be here until April 24th and then NYC for a week and then Kenya for another project for ~4 weeks. This means I am unlikely to be back in Australia until the second week of June.
I had to mobilize from Australia in under 24 hours so unfortunately had to decline interviews with Crescent. Things with Blue Sky have gone particularly well though - I ended up meeting with about 5 of the team two Thursday's again (including a fairly substantive chat with Tim Wilson / Elaine Stead). I have completed the online tests this evening (HNL time) and am planning to chat to Elaine later this week.
I will reach out to Anchorage / Arowana and let them know of the shift in schedule.
Many thanks for your assistance - disappointing from my side I couldn't get to see more of the funds while in Australia given the unanticipated departure.
Will keep you in the loop as the week progresses.
Cheers,
Ben

Ok … understand totally .
Think Blue Sky might step in and make an offer post testing and call .. in which case you may be in a position where you have to make a call on them either way .Not sure they will wait till late June for a decision …
To be honest Crescent is probably a long shot ( they tend to take vanilla Bain/Mckinsey 2-3 yr hires ) and Arowana is less developed / higher risk factor than Blue Sky platform anyway though imagine they will like you ( though may not even have a role ) ..
So just though best to raise this . Are you ready to return to Aus and commit to a VC fund ? Although Blue Sky does have an office in NY and the MD/CEO is based there currently .
