The event took place at the Taman Ayun Temple of Banjar Mengwi in Bali. As it was a reward for a number of international employees, the dinner was devised to showcase traditional Balinese culture.
The meal enhanced the atmosphere of a Balinese cultural night and was served in Rajalaya style, traditionally reserved for members of the royal families. The eight main courses were served by Balinese girls dressed in traditional costumes and accompanied by a traditional gamelan orchestra.
Janur (coconut leaves) and penjor (lighted Balinese flags) decorated the entrance, while umbul-umbul flags and Balinese umbrellas were positioned throughout the dining venue and walkways. The tables were elegantly decorated in Indonesian batik with traditional candles and flower decorations
