My priorities with staffs are;
1. revenue for the Resort-ability to contribute and convert their work into revenue/profits
2. knowledged of their field of profession-from 4-5 stars chained hotels
3. proactive-performance driven
4. attitudes and commitments-work as professionals not personal
5. be accountable-responsible to deliver the task set the best way they can and within the timeline
6.works within the KPIs we set/targets-sells or revenue / the company will achieve a high ROI on the staffs
I find that we employed alot of Not up to standards staffs who thinks they are on holiday mode here*. I think its time everyone knows that 'Laksasubha' has a choice to choose the staffs and not the other way around and there are no rooms for simple minded-village type thinking'baan baan' from hua hin.
We need to recreate a strong rules and regulations like chains but at the sametime we are family unit. Give alot and take alot -. there should be alot of target setting/KPIs as I mentioned above so we can 'weed out' the non-performance personnel within this 5-6 months period. I feel we need to be tough now its our only chance to move forward.
Just an example the engineering job they did for the Bangkok office is very bad regarding fitting the office blinds, its uneven and not complete and this will reflect the visitors coming to our office! I think they just ; saak te wa tum ' to just finished a job and not care about the outcome.
This the Asst.chief engineer, I am not surprised that he will probably not pass probation.
I would like to know what thewy are thinking when they applkied for a job here and what they think when they are actually working here*. What they see themselves in the future?
