Position: Manager, AP Accountant
Job Purpose:
To perform complex recording and closing of accounts payable for operation expense related accounts process, and guide junior members through difficult assignments, in order to ensure accuracy of such accounts in alignment with standards and policies
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Review and develop complex documents for booking accounts payable for operation expense related accounts in order to ensure accuracy and completeness of document in compliance with standards and policies
2. Coordinate with regulators, auditors and all relevant parties in order to provide and clarify complex information and issue regarding accounts payable of operation exepnse related accounts
3. Ensure quality of information and database on accounts payable for commercial goods and services to ensure that accurate, complete, and relevant information is provided in a timely manner
4. Address issues regarding accounts payable for commercial goods and services, as required by higher level to ensure that concerns are identified
5. Perform complex recording and closing accounts payable for operation expense related accounts in order to ensure accuracy of such accounts
6. Perform complex activities for the process of monitoring liability incurred from accounts payable and providing document and data to relevant functions in order to ensure accuracy of payment in due course
7. Collect feedbacks from users to ensure business and other requirements are met
8. Identify and respond appropriately to patterned issues regarding accounting in order to ensure that current issues are efficiently dealt with to support operational excellence
9. Contribute, if needed, to the implementation of small to medium strategic project, in order to support more senior members in the documentation or reporting of performance
10. Learn to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve patterned problems
11. Collaborate with other departments / teams to facilitate analysis and identify process improvement / cost reduction opportunities
12. Be accountable for other certain works as assigned from immediate superior level
