the effect of the plastic usage on the silver release was evaluated through a new set of experiments involving these two simulants at 40 c and incubation times of 1, 4, 7 and 10 days. The results of this study are ppresented in Fig 1. Different migration models were observed for water and acetic acid in both plastics. silver release from the baby bottle increased with time for both simulants, the maximum release being observed after 10 days of contact with acetic acid (13 ng dm^-2)
