Qualitative research to study the technical knowledge, patterns, and how to transfer the correct water pollution and EM chemical/biological properties, in the format that is easily understood for grass root community, and the development of EM production for managing water pollution of the Tha Chin River Basin model via a semi-structured interview of 48 samples. The research found that making own EM will reduce production costs, a way to use not complicated, with important nutrients, pest control, as fertilizer, Process starting from raw organic material to be shredded into small pieces, smell sour and sweet, with some species of microorganisms capable of degrading plant and debris, but can not be used in conjunction with chemicals, antibiotics, and pesticides, can be stored for several months in the shade. The most practical form were anaerobic fermentation and self-expanding microorganisms, but still have a problem with a lack of knowledge and understanding of the technical, not unified and lack of coordination between agencies systematically, difficulties in the supply of organic materials, lack of empathy and continuous time, lack of awareness of the benefits of EM, the support of state officials lacked continuity, lack of EM activities’ acceptance from government, lack of communicating that knowledge correctly, and easy to understand. By the problems encountered and suggestions from the community led to the development of EM production model, with the following elements: 1 ) the study of local wisdom, science and EM production modern technology, to participatory produce and consume EM by community, 2) establishing quality people with health system and good environmental, further supported by a system of lifelong education and knowledge management/knowledge sharing, 3) establishing quality community with life safety, economic stability, community participation, and co-creating the social forces 4) the capital from grass root, has knowledge creativity, has volunteer mind, given the opportunity and Caring for each other 5) EM production and consume with social marketing principles, and 6) to reduce pollution of the Tha Chin River Basin.
