ZIFT: Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer is an assisted reproductive procedure similar to in vitro fertilization (IVF). The difference is that the embryo is transferred into the fallopian tube as opposed to the uterus. It offers a greater chance of conception due to the fact that the fertility specialist has more ways to insure the egg is fertilized before implantation.
