All animal performance data were analyzed as
a randomized complete block design (RCBD) using
PROC MIXED (SAS 9.3, SAS Inst. Inc., Cary, NC).
Pen was considered the experimental unit, and weight
block was included as a random effect. All carcass data
were analyzed with pen as the experimental unit and
weight block included as a random effect. The USDA
quality grade, yield grade (YG), and liver scores were
analyzed using PROC GLIMMIX (SAS 9.3, SAS Inst.
Inc.). Differences were considered significantly different
when P < 0.05 and a trend when 0.05 ≥ P ≤ 0.10.
