Ensconced within the Old Town, the Goldenes Dachl is the chief landmark on the Herzog Friedrich Street. The three-storey balcony was built by Archduke Friedrich IV in the 15th century for the Tyrolean rulers. The tiles look like pure gold though actually it is copper, gold-plated.
