Analogous trends hold for PAs, too. Here, the maximum difference
between PAs for the two solvation models is 11 kJ mol1. Similarly
to PDEs, larger differences stem from the employed
functional. B3LYP values are lower than M05-2X and M06-2X ones,
discrepancies are in 22–45 kJ mol1 range. For used functionals,
SMD values are mutually closer than PAs found using IEF–PCM
approach. If one compares M05-2X and M06-2X results, differences
up to 5 kJ mol1 can be found. For used functionals, drop in
PAs induced by solvent is 959–1010 kJ mol1 (IEF–PCM) and
970–1003 kJ mol1 (SMD)
